I recently stayed at Astarte suites in October and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. Although the room and food was great, there are many such hotels in Santorini. Staff was unkind and overall just very rude. We rented a car through their service and on the second day noticed a sign light up on the dashboard. I asked Castros if he by any chance knew what that sign meant or if it was anything to worry about and received a very rude answer “I was not there so how would I know? Probably just the brakes are locked. Don’t ask me such questions” This is not how I would expect staff to treat guests at a 5 star hotel. Never did we ask for help with the car or for him to come take a look. But just to receive such an impolite and discourteous response over a small question was completely uncalled for. We received similar rude remarks over the course of our stay anytime we asked for anything at all. We paid a lot of money to be treated this way when we were in no way a bother to anyone. Please don’t keep this hotel open in October if staff has already checked out for the season and is going to be unkind and discourteous to guests.
I recently stayed at Astarte Suites and it was the most incredible experience. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the food was absolutely delicious. The views from my room were breathtaking, and the overall ambiance was so relaxing. I can't wait to come back and stay again
A great local hotel. The location is convenient with nice sunset views, there are two local restaurants within 3 mins by walking. Hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly. Decent price for hotels of this high level.
Exceptional hotel to stay. From the moment we arrived we were treated to 5* service in all aspects of our stay. The views were absolutely stunning overlooking the Aegean sea and the volcano. Food was incredible, everything was a gastronomic delight. Every member of staff was highly trained and treated you with the utmost respect and nothing was too much trouble for them. The suite was beautiful and everything we needed was there. Made our memories extra special. 😁
