The excursion launches at Oia, the most graphical yet modernized village lying on the northwestern part of Santorini. As the second-largest village after the beautiful town of the island, Fira, all these traditional, white-washed cave houses, along with the alluring scenery of the dramatic Caldera Cliffs, reveal an unusual image and dreamy atmosphere. A clear look over the famous and spectacular Volcano of Santorini will surely spread your horizons! Fleeing from the village of Oia, a "photo-stop" will be made at Firostefani village, where the prominent Blue Domed Church is settled. A legendary church that has embellished the cover of countless guidebooks on the island, that will cause shiver and awe while admiring it!
Subsequently, the tour operator will offer you the option to choose between the exquisite village of Megalochori or the gorgeous village of Pyrgos, or even both after consulting with him! If you opt for the appealing village of Pyrgos, the Prophet Elias Monastery is also a popular destination for any visitor to Santorini! At the uppermost point of the island, approximately 2.000 feet and almost 600 meters above sea level, this Monastery has been holding immense historical importance because of its assortment of churches, chapels, a bell tower, and various religious artifacts dating back to the 18th century, proposing infinity vistas from both sides of the island, south, and north!
On the other hand, if you are determined to the elegant village of Megalochori, you will be inspired by the maze-like environment with the narrow, traditional alleys and the lively central square full of shops, taverns, and churches. More specifically, the houses and mansions in Megalochori village from the past possess unique attributes including high walls, inner courtyards, and strong wooden door entrances, which were deliberately constructed to give privacy and shield against potential pirate raids during ancient times.
During the survey, you will make a brief stop at the distinguished Perivolos Black Beach, which is the biggest shoreline on Santorini Island and is known for its black volcanic pebbles. This positioning yields ravishing views of the Aegean deep blue Sea and neighboring islands. Continuing at the coastline of Perissa, the astonishing dark volcanic sand along with the crystal-clear waters will definitely please you!
Alternatively, you can also choose to pause and explore the traditional Koutsogiannopoulos Wine Museum located in the village of Kamari, which showcases the nuances of winemaking.
Take into account that if you or anyone from your group get hungry within the course, you can always find a chance to have a snack, or even take a lunch break at a local restaurant in one of the lesser-known places in Santorini and try the regional cuisine and its flavors!
Last but not least, be aware that this Private tour can be scheduled either in the morning, or evening accompanied by the view of the alluring sunset, which can be seen in the village of Oia or in a spot on the Caldera, according to customers’ preferences. If the guests desired, the tour operator offers the opportunity to prolong the length of the tour.
Reserve your exclusive VIP car tour and spend a couple of hours exploring the island's renowned sights, novel flavors, and valuable insights into wine production! You're bound to have a delightful time!

Thank you so so much for your lovely words.!!!
I booked this tour as I couldn't get any good options for the shore excursion through the Royal Caribbean Cruise at Santorini. I had booked for 5 hours, unfortunately, due to a new rule to have only 500 passengers at the Santorini port, we lost almost 2.5 hours to arrive from the Ship to the port as we had to take a tender boat to arrive from the ship. Santorini View was always in communication with me throughout and the driver was waiting for our arrival with patience. Finally, once we made it after getting off the tender boat and then the cable car, we met Constantine who immediately took us to his car and drove off the Oia. Having a local and our own guide/driver was extremely helpful as we were able to get to areas few tourists would know/visit. And we were able to get many pictures as a family as he helped us with the pictures. After Oia, we went to Fira and he walked us through the key areas, and the sunset was one of the best we have seen in our lives! Overall, we had a wonderful time, I just wish the cruise ship we arrived at came a bit early or arranged for earlier arrival via tender boat that would have made us enough it even better. Though this has nothing to do with the Santorini View team and they did everything they could, just posting this so those who travel here via Cruise ship can plan accordingly. From our view, this is a must do for those who want their own way at their leisure.
If you are short on time and want to get a taste of the island we will definitely recommend Santorini view. Our guide driver Panos, was wonderful. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made our time in Santorini very special. Highly recommend it.
Wonderful experience! Personal, educational and verry interesting. Denis & Annemiek from The Netherlands
