Nalas Suites is located in Emporio on the southern coast of Santorini, and the unique architectural style of the neighborhood is still reflected in their exterior construction.
Out of respect for the rich history and heritage of the villages of Emporio and Santorini, traditional homes have maintained their distinctive identity and special features.
Fine wood, stone, and the traditional Cycladic whitewash have all been thoughtfully used in the suites' interior design.

The village of Emporio is the largest village in Santorini and it is located in the south part of the island, only 12 kilometers away from Fira town, the capital of Santorini. It is built at the foothills of Prophet Elias Mountain, and we could say that the paths at one of its sections create a beautiful maze, full of traditional buildings with different shapes and colors. Close to Emporio lies the beautiful Perissa village, at only 3 kilometers distance, and its amazing Perissa beach with its black volcanic landscape.
The name “Emporio” means “trade” in Greek, and they say that in the past years the village used to be the center of trade on the island. Moreover, in the heart of the village, you will find beautiful traditional houses with small nice yards and renovated hotels, as well as one of the five fortified castles of Santorini, the medieval Kasteli, surrounded by narrow alleys, great for perfect afternoon relaxing strolls.

In order to reach the place from the port, take the bus from the Port to Fira and get off in Pyrgos village. Then, take another bus with direction to Perissa. There is a bus stop in Emporio village.
AMAZING!!! Not 5 but 10 Stars!!! The place it self is very beautiful and Christos Hospitality its even better! He made us feel more then guests. We stayed in the MASTIO SUITE, which come with a outdoor private Jacuzzi. The view from the jacuzzi and the suite is amazing. Because of the position of the building we had amazing views of the Sunrise every morning. You can see the beach from the windows. We were welcomed by Christos at the post office from the transfer he arranged for us from the airport. It a great and quite place of the island, we recommended renting an AT V or Car which makes everything easier, and dont worry about parkings, supermarkets, bars, ATMs they are all just few minutes walking distance from the AirBnb. Will definitely come back next year.
I stayed two nights in October 2023. I booked a MASTIO, but they upgraded it to VIGILA. VIGILA is a very private accommodation, like a freestanding building. I chose the cave-style accommodation because I wanted to experience it, and it was a good decision. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, and I had a good night's rest at my individual Jacuzzi on the rooftop in the evening, watching the night view. The town of Emporio, where Nalas is located, was also very impressive. It was fun to walk around the old town without cars. There is a Greek home-style restaurant called Old Barber Shop just a three-minute walk from Nalas, and it was really nice to experience Greek soul food. Thank you very much for your kind Chris. You helped me a lot, such as booking an electric bicycle. Thanks to you, I had a pleasant and comfortable trip. I would love to visit again.
We stayed in the cave suite via Airbnb. Very unique cave like suite. Perfect to escape the tourist madness that is Santorini. The Jacuzzi is very relaxing. Responsive and helpful host. Perfect place to stay on Santorini when you want to relax after a day of exploring everything there is to see on the Island.
Best decision ever. Not only the place is managed by the most friendly staff, which gives you a warm feeling during your stay but the location and the area are perfect for a quite holiday with a true Greek feeling. Renting a car with them was a Smart idea too!
