Two-Bedroom House

Iokasti villas house is amazing, location, location, location. 1 minute walk to Main Street of Fira, where you walk up to all the shops and caldera views. Everything is nearby, grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, bars, laundry, spas…… This is a 2 bedroom house with a private patio with a hot tub (which came in handy since it was very cold). Kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge and you could absolutely cook there if you wanted to. It comes with a complimentary bottle of white wine and crackers. Very spacious living room, great Wi-Fi. One of the bedrooms is a bit larger, but both have very comfortable beds with down comforters. Lots of pillows and blankets available in house. They even have bathrobes and slippers. Super nice main bathroom, the 2nd bathroom is a little smaller. Christina and Maria are amazing and assist with anything you need, they set up transport to and from ferry, laundry if needed and are super responsive. They have daily room cleaning as well. I would definitely stay there again. The personal touch makes a world of difference.

We liked the place a lot! Two lovely bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms in a compact space. Not to forget the lovely courtyard, including jacuzzi. The location is quiet, yet only 4 min stroll to the main square and maximum another 4 min up to the rim (with good views from the cliff). Parking (in case you find a spot) is literally just around the corner. The hostess (Vera) goes the extra mile. So what’s negative: as said it’s a compact space, not tiny, nor small but it’s not a villa!

Liked · The location of the house was perfect. It was a typical cycladic house with very nice interior design. There were two bathrooms which made our life much easier. The house was well equipped and had all the utensils we needed. There was also complementary coffee and wine bottle for our welcome. Not to mention the Hot Tub was amazing for relaxing at night after walking all over the island. The host Amalia was very warm and helped us a lot throughout our stay. She gave us a brief overview of the island, helped us getting appointments for Corona test, and also arranged drop off to the ferry at a nominal cost of €30 for 4 people. Since the location was the house was directly near the bus station, we could just walk from the bus station Fira to her house in less than 4 minutes. There is a grocery store just nearby. There is also an hospital to do the corona test at walkable distance. Oia is 20 min by Quad bike and Perissa black sand beach around 20 min as well. You can walk from here to Firostefani and Imerovigli. You can have your breakfast at a nearby cafe since breakfast is not included in the price. Disliked · The day we arrived, the air condition was not working due to some issue. Nevertheless Amalia arranged some ventilators for us so that we would not face any discomfort. Unfortunately since the spare parts did not arrive on time we were without air condition for our complete stay. But during our stay Amalia bought new air conditioning already.
