Fira is the beautiful capital of the island and the biggest and most cosmopolitan settlement of Santorini. It is located in the western edge of the island, opposite the volcano.

It actually owns the greatest dining out and entertainment selection of the island and the largest shopping center, too. Staff was very polite, informative, and accommodating. They gave us a tour of the hotel and its amenities when we arrived and then gave us information about the Island such as excursions and navigation tips. The room and view were gorgeous. This hotel offers so much for the price. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. HIGHLY recommend.
There’s a lot to unpack here. Pick up from the airport was great, the room was nice, only one key card given. At dinner the first night on site, was asked if we had a reservation, told we “need to book the sunset tables”. At dinner the next night, they didn’t seat us at a sunset table (we didn’t book one, so if they are all booked, then fair) but no one was seated at the sunset tables. In fact, randoms entered the restaurant area, seated themselves at the sunset tables, and took photos as if they were staying there, with not a word from the staff. Our key card was randomly deactivated on day 4. Our pool was not cleaned for 2 days, and on our last full day, on our way to breakfast I asked for it to be cleaned. When the pool person finally turned up, he decided to drain it, and the pool was unusable for 3 hours. We paid over €4,000 for 6 nights, this was not what I was expecting. All the staff (apart from the manager who seemed to take a dislike to us) were amazing. We initially booked in 2020, but Covid stepped in, and I cannot find any evidence of the deposit (€1,300) they were going to refund after 18 months. Final thoughts, not sure if the manager is anti Asian or anti New Zealanders, but he sure let a bad impression.
THE BEST SUNSET VIEW FROM THE PROPERTY IN THE ENTIRE ISLAND. PERIOD. If you wish to have an unforgettable experience, just blindly book a honeymoon suite at this place (you don’t have to necessarily be on a honeymoon 😛). The staff, the rooms, the vibe, THE HEAVENLY VIEWS, the breakfast, the service, quality overall of toiletries, hot tub and jacuzzi experience - EVERYTHING IS SIMPLY PERFECT. People not staying here had gathered outside the entrance of the property just for the sunset view. We felt great to have those views from the comfort of our room 😍 the sun literally seemed to have dipped in the sea.
My Wife and I stayed here for 3 days for our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for more. The staff was amazing! From the airport pick up, to arrival, to checking out, we always felt welcomed and they made sure we had everything we needed. The views from the room were amazing! Rooms are very clean and modern! We definitely will be staying here when visiting Santorini again.
