This interior of the villa is made up of 170 square meters of well-distributed space to allow the smooth blending of tradition into contemporary luxury. Fira is the beautiful capital of the island and the biggest and most cosmopolitan settlement of Santorini. It is located in the western edge of the island, opposite the volcano.

An exceptional experience! We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Murat, your best spacious and private place for an enjoyable family vacation. We’d like to thank Christina for the great organization, prompt replies and for being an outstanding host. We’re recommending this amazing place to family and friends and will make it a regular spot for the family.
If I was to describe in three words this villa, it would be Excellent Service, unbelievable views and best location. We were 9 persons so cost per person was 190 eur/day which is low for accommodation given by the house for end of July beginning of August that we booked it for. Hotels with pool and about the same views starting prices were 450 per suite for two and we wouldn’t be able to party or be all together doing the things we did.
Jan 2023 The historic villa gives you some of the best views, and sunsets. Floor plan is a bit muddled. The smallest room is good size and the only one with a window, has an awfully small sink which splashes water all over the floor. Prepare to haul your luggage a good distance uphill. Location is very convenient to fira town center - a short 5-10min walk.
We stayed in the Villa last August, and even though Covid restrictions did not let us fully enjoy the island, we where very lucky to stay in this house, enjoying the spectacular views from the pool for 3 days. Because it is located close to the center, we did not feel the island empty as others staying in more isolated places. The location of the house is the best, exactly for that reason. You are close to center but havr lots of privacy. Accommodation was as expected by a luxury villa and even though we were 3 couples, there was room for at least 10 people, giving us the feeling of a mansion rather than a villa. The lady welcoming us was very polite and gave us her cell phone to contact her about whatever we needed, but we didn't really use it. Breakfast was like a 5-star hotel and served upon request. I definitely recommend this villa for groups of people of more than five but not for smaller groups because it is expensive due to its size.
