The property is located in Baxedes, a small and peaceful region on the north of Santorini, which is considered part of the beautiful Oia village and is just 4 kilometers away from it. It overlooks the east side of the island with the vast plains and the wide coastline that connects several calm beaches and provides to the people choosing to stay there, amazing views of the sparkling Aegean Sea.
The reason why many people choose their accommodation in Baxedes is the fact that it’s the area with the closest access to the beach and certainly the amazing Oia, and at the same time so away from the fuss and the crowds of people that choose their stay in the cosmopolitan villages. There are two beaches that are easily accessible from there, Baxedes beach and Koloumpos beach. Both beaches are semi-organized with some sunbeds, umbrellas, and small canteens, and with a unique calm vibe that surely takes the stress away!

This hotel is amazing! From arrival to departure, everything is impressive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. Mr Sergio is friendly and attentive. The hotel's convenient location, convenient transportation and beautiful surroundings make people feel at home. A delicious hearty breakfast is satisfying and makes you feel refreshed to start the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely choose this hotel again!
I can't recommend this place highly enough (although I want it to be my secret amongst the worthy). The rooms are spotless and contemporary. The pool is excellent and spacious. The food has been outstanding-generous serving sizes, and the hosts are wonderful. The location is away from the hustle and bustle, with everything on the island just a 20-minute drive away. We were in a superior suite with seaviews. The room is spacious with a living room, bedroom and bathroom with shower. Clean and with good room service. Sergios, the owner was very kind. The included breakfast is excellent with pastries, fruit, yogurt, hot drinks and juice. You can also order eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. It is true that it is a little out of the way but it is quieter and nowhere on the island is difficult to reach if you have a rental car. It doesn't take more than 40-50 minutes from end to end. The beach does not exist, and access to it is through some crumbling stairs that are prohibited. You need to walk several minutes to reach the sea. The pool is quiet and not bad, but it opens at 10:00 and closes at sunset. There is no reception at night. If you arrive late they leave the door open with the key and you check in in the morning. If you have to leave early in the morning (as is our case) they leave you a bag with breakfast and you leave the key in the room. The "tourist taxes" of €5 a day (cash only without receipt) seemed a little strange to us because according to Booking they were €7.50 + 0.5% city tax and they had already been paid. If it's the tip, say clearly and that's it.
Counted on a seaside holiday as well. The beach is completely absent. There used to be a slope to the sea from a steep bank, but now it has been destroyed and is not going to be restored. There are absolutely no complaints about the hotel itself, the hospitable owner Sergio, cleanliness and hospitality. There is a clean and pleasant swimming pool with comfortable sun beds and umbrellas.
