The beauty of Oia is matchless. It is undoubtedly the best place to watch the sunset in Santorini. You can never get tired of watching Palaia and Nea Kameni islets glistening in the clear blue waters as the sun dips into the Aegean Sea. Oia also has the famous Ammoudi port, where you can enjoy freshly cooked seafood.

If you want the best sunset view from the comfort of your balcony, then this is your place! The room was clean and spacious but the star of the show is definitely the private balcony. The balcony provides the prime people watching spot as you can watch the masses gather to watch the sunset or taking photos throughout the day. The only downside to this hotel is if you want immense privacy then this might not be your best spot as people do gather below your balcony and are constantly walking past. However, it’s very quiet at night and once you enter the hotel room, it is very private.

Sophia castle in Joce locality offers breathtaking sunset views and convenient access to nearby dining options. However, my stay was somewhat marred by the presence of bugs, an issue I raised with the manager, and be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs for 5-10 minutes due to the lack of a proper road, though the manager was really helpful with this.
