At Loukas & Emma Houses, the goal is to become more environmentally friendly each year. This is reflected in the use of solar systems for water heating, and the collection of water from cisterns during winter rainfalls.

Perissa is a coastal village, located on the southeastern edge of the island. A brilliant choice thanks to the combination of its amenities, an intense nightlife with events of all sorts and most of all, the proximity to the sea.
The reason most visitors come to Perissa is to take pleasure in the extraordinary beach, which is characterized by deep, dark blue waters and black lava sand. It is fully-organized with sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars, lifeguards and a playground and it has received the Blue Flag Award. On top of that, there are water sports facilities, diving centers, a water park, and a beach volley area to boost your experience.
Plus, there are plenty of nightclubs, restaurants, taverns and cafés to choose from for jolly moments, day and night. In the village, you can find mini markets and many other shops with clothes, souvenirs and anything you may need.

In order to reach the place from the port, take the bus from the Port to Fira and get off in Pyrgos village. Then, take another bus with direction to Perissa.
Situated a short flat 10 min stroll from the beautiful Perissa beach. With plenty of welcoming Bars and restaurants retaining a local feel. Lovely modern, clean apartment with hot tub, everything required for self catering. Very helpful receptionist and staff. We had a great time. Would love to come back.

Excellent accomodation, highly recommended. Stayed in a 3 bed appartment for 8 nights in May 2024. Very well decorated/styled, cleaned daily, kitchen well equipped, outdoor space nicely set out and furnished. Air con in each room. Private jacuzzi in garden. Shared pool on site. Manager Nicole is very helpful and very quick communication on whatsapp. Any issues were quickly resolved. Acomm 10mins easy walk to beach, restaurants and minimarket nearby. Parking near acomm if you have hire car.
It was a homey spot, walkable to black sand beaches and great restaurants / fresh sea foods. The room was very comfortable and private. Nicole was a fantastic host assisting us in all aspects of our vacations. She coordinated our restaurant reservations, booked our tours, and rental cars (at a great price)! We came during the off-season, and many places were closed, but Nicole and her team went out of their way to make sure we got stuff planned and things to do. The black sand beach was about 5 minute walk. Excellent place to watch the sunrise The resort has a friendly and awesome cat! Ancient Thera is about a 1-1.5 hr hike from the hotel. Bring good hiking shoes. If you come here, you will be treated as family!
