Adami Restaurant is nestled beside the main pool of the Canaves Ena Hotel in the picturesque village of Oia. The name “Adami” is derived from the Greek word antamoma, meaning ‘meeting’, symbolizing the restaurant’s spirit of connection and shared experiences.
A sanctuary of relaxation and elegance, Adami offers a menu rooted in generational recipes that celebrate Greece’s culinary heritage. Using locally sourced ingredients from Santorini and the mainland, each dish captures the essence of Greek flavors. The menu caters to a variety of tastes, with options for meat and pasta lovers, as well as fresh fish dishes. Emphasis is placed on “share” dishes, offering a diverse range for every palate. This was one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to. Had the tomato fritters which was okay, the cod with skordalia and kleftiko lamb which were also fine, but I think the dining view of the ocean was well worth the trek.
We stayed at this hotel and don’t usually eat where we stay (or eat at hotel restaurants in general) but I’m SO glad we did. This is a traditional Greek concept and while it’s elevated the menu stays true to Greek cuisine. The wine was amazing, the mezze platter was the best way to get bites of everything and the pastitsio was one of our favorite things we ate the entire trip. Beautiful views and incredible service. If you’re looking for a cozy romantic meal can’t recommend enough.
I booked this restaurant last minute during a trip to Santorini with my partner in search of delicious food, a romantic atmosphere and great views during sunset. Compared to a few other restaurants we ate at (that had michelin stars and great reviews) this restaurant far exceeded these and was our favourite meal of our trip. The restaurant itself seemed like a hidden gem as it only had a handful of tables on the rooftop and hardly any other people dining. The area was nice and quiet, soft lighting at the tables and of course, offered an outstanding view of the Caldera and white washed buildings. The sun set behind some buildings which was unfortunate as we weren't sure whether it did have a direct view when booking, but was still lovely. Our server (believe her name was Christina) was very attentive, friendly and offered wine and food suggestions from the menu. She had genuine interest in offering her suggestions and provided excellent service through the whole evening. The food of course was sensational. Our meal started with an amuse bouche from the chef, followed by ceviche and crab tortellini that we shared as starters. Mains, we both had the Rib eye steak with truffle puree. Dessert was the Gianduja Biscoff. Yum! Everything was cooked to perfection, full of flavour and plated perfectly. Would highly recommend! Thank you all for a lovely evening and great memories. 😊
The chef here is excellent. Food is exquisite. Cannot fault it. Mixologist was inconsistent - cosmopolitan cocktail for my wife was strange. They're not cheap either at €26+ for their signature cocktails. Fantastic view. Also, the Google map location is incorrect. It's on the other side of the road in the canaves hotel.
