The vibe of 5 senses was so relaxing. My partner and I could actually see the restaurant from our room, so we decided to check it out. The service here is outstanding, from the blankets to keep customers warm, the relaxing music, to the warm smiles that welcomed us at the entrance. Jay was our lovely waiter and he went above and beyond to give us the ultimate experience. The food was above my expectations, and my partner had the best cheesecake of his life from here. The entree that we had was spectacular, the ingredients used are so fresh and vibrant. My lobster risotto was so full of flavour. Absolutely have no faults for this restaurant. We came for dinner after sunset but the views during sunset would be absolutely breathtaking.
One of the hardest decisions that I had to make during our honeymoon in Greece was picking which restaurant in Santorini to enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner. My wife and I stayed at Astra Suites (which was absolutely perfect) and after much research, decided to book a reservation at their restaurant, Five Senses. We dined in early October, and decided on a 6:30pm (1830) reservation. The time was suggested by the restaurant as I had originally planned for slightly later in the evening. The timing turned out to be perfect as we enjoyed our drinks and took in the sun setting into the Aegean Sea, it felt like we were sat upon the top of the world. My wife and I booked our reservation online well ahead of time and had opted for the five course dinner. All of the food was very, very good, we ended the night full and happy. Some of our favorites courses were the eggplant amuse-bouche, grilled lettuce and scallop salad, grilled calamari, and the delicious wagyu steak mushrooms and a port sauce! The highlight of the dinner was sharing a bottle of sparkling wine from the famous Santo Winery and having a dinner worthy of a postcard.
Delicious food, gorgeous views and impeccable service. Very accommodating for my gluten free requirements also!
Great restaurant with a stunning view over the caldera. We didn’t have a reservation but the staff was very kind and got us a wonderful table. Place is nicely decorated and very romantic. Food was good but not that tasty in my opinion. Service was impeccable! Absolutely flawless. Waiters were extremely nice and professional (thanks Lena!). A bit pricey though (expect at least 80€ per head without alcohol). But totally worth every penny thanks to its incredible atmosphere and stunning view on the incredible sunset.
