The location is beautiful and the view is picturesque but thats what you’re paying for. We arrived earlier than our reservation and they accommodated us. It took us a few minutes to be seated and they set us up with a high chair. Once the waiter seated us it took us waving someone down to have someone walk us through their specials and suggestions. The waiter that did seemed really annoyed and wasn’t friendly at all. We opted for the greek salad, fried zucchini and the swordfish that he recommended. The salad was good, nothing special. The zucchini was soggy and flavorless. The swordfish was just okay, it tasted a little rubbery and there was a bit too much butter, but it had a nice grilled sear. Once our food was brought to our table, our waiter never cane by again- not to check in or refill our beverages or anything. Once again, we had to wave down our waiter for the bill. If you’re looking for a great overall experience, we had much better for less than half the price elsewhere. If you want to experience the beautiful view, maybe just grab dessert?
This is a very bad experience. The waiter's attitude is very bad and unfriendly. He will laugh at your language and make things difficult for you. We come here to eat and enjoy life, not to get angry. Their road is very difficult to walk at the bottom of the island. The price is also very expensive. The most important thing is that the service is really bad. As a tourist, I spend my time to come to this place. I really think it is not worth it. I am very sad.
I would love to give more than 2 stars because the sunset view was awesome. However there were so many things off. First the food is ok at best. We got the famous lobster pasta and the lobster had no flavor, and the pasta tasted like something made with canned sauce. For 160 euros you expect a lot more. Second, the service wasn’t good. The service was very slow the whole time. The only redeeming factor was that our waiter let us stay just a bit longer to enjoy the full sunset. Finally, because you get the great sunset view, you’re also sitting in the direct sunlight and heat until it sets. It’s very brutal with pretty much no relief. It was horrible in late September so I can’t imagine how bad it would be during the high season
Yeah it’s pricey but totally worth the views, friendly service & tasty house white wine. Get the lobster pasta - loved choosing the specific lobster from the tank (smaller is usually tastier *pssst* & cheaper). The hostess & our server were such great people. Enjoy!
