Lovely place at the seafront for dinner. We really enjoyed the octopus and tzatziki starters. The fresh grilled fish was also great! The staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend going here when around to enjoy some delicious food in a nice atmosphere.

The Dolphins Fish Tavern: A True Santorini Gem Recommended by Xristina, a local shop owner, I can confidently say this was my favorite restaurant of my trip to Santorini. Located right by the sea, the tavern is run by a fisherman and his family. Watching the old man and his wife cooking felt so authentic—it’s like dining at a friend’s home where the family cooks just for you. Of course, I had my mandatory Greek salad, tomato fritters, amazing Santorini fries, fried feta, and the fish he recommended—OMG, it was perfection! The menu is also written in multiple languages, making it super easy for tourists to choose. I highly recommend ordering local Ouzo 🥛 to pair with your Greek dishes. I’ve added photos of the menu and the dishes we enjoyed.

The Dolphins restaurant on the Red Beach in Santorini is a hidden gem, and their fresh seafood pasta is an absolute must-try for food lovers visiting the island. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Santorini’s iconic red cliffs and turquoise waters, this charming seaside spot delivers a dining experience that’s as unforgettable as the scenery. The seafood pasta is a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta is tossed with a generous mix of the freshest local seafood—plump mussels, tender shrimp, and delicate calamari—all bathed in a light, garlicky tomato sauce with just a hint of white wine. The flavors are perfectly balanced, allowing the natural sweetness of the seafood to shine through. The dish is elevated further by the addition of fresh herbs and a sprinkle of grated cheese, bringing depth and brightness to every bite. Paired with a crisp glass of local white wine, it’s the epitome of Mediterranean dining. With its unbeatable location, friendly service, and food that celebrates the best of the Aegean, The Dolphins is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic, flavorful seafood dishes while soaking in the beauty of Santorini’s Red Beach.

This is one of those family run seaside Taverna that is a must try when in the Akrotiri area. Do try their tomato fritters and fried squid!
