A truly GORGEOUS location. The atmosphere is a 7 out of 5, easily. And that alone really carries this place. if you're looking for an amazing location to sit down at for some drinks and snacks, it's really hard to find a better place. Right up at the summit of Santorini, the views are breathtaking. The food was fine. Nothing was incredible, though it was all very pretty. Quite expensive though, if you're just looking for a quick bite, you can do far better in this regard. I will say the Calamari was very good, perfectly cooked. The service was a little lacking and absentminded. They were nice, but we would often place a drink order, and it would just never come and we would have to ask 2 or 3 more times to finally get a glass of wine.
You are paying for the view here. The food is very good but overpriced, definitely paying more for the access to the view. The view is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING all day but especially during the sunset. No better place to watch it. Service was fine but some staff seemed inexperienced and the speaker system kept cutting out, slightly interrupting dinner. I ordered the Greek salad, which was well presented and good flavor. They added what seemed like strips of pita bread into the salad which threw me off at first but I quickly grew to liking it. My wife got the Greek yogurt, which was basic but tasty. Again, nothing wrong with the food, we both quite liked what we ordered, but overpriced.
We came here for the mamma Mia experience. The hotel plays mamma Mia in the summer at the rear of the restaurant and it includes some appetizers. We also got some wine from the restaurant which was €9 a glass. There is only 2 toilets one male one female. The view though is absolutely stunning. Worth coming to just for the aesthetics. The appetizer was good, but you could order more food for the film if you wanted to and I would recommend doing so, or going elsewhere for food after as it is definitely nibbles and not filling. Very tasty though
Amazing place, great views and the prices are fine. The staff were both pleasant and professional. Well worth the long haul up to the cafe.
