Therasia is a tiny volcanic island in Santorini known for its beautiful landscape and fascinating history. It is a great place to explore with family and friends if you are looking for an unforgettable adventure and a fun-filled trip.
A guided walking tour is the best way to explore every nook and cranny of Therasia Island and indulge in their traditional food and lifestyle.
The guided walking tour starts at 7.50 AM every day guided by Nicole, a local English speaking guide. She will meet you at Ammoudi Port from where you will be transferred to Therasia Island via a seabus. Nicole will brief you on what you will see and can expect from the tour.
The walking tour will begin in Therasia. First, you will stop at Agrilia to take in the majestic beauty of the oldest settlement. You can take stunning photographs there at the inhabitant caves as well. You will then continue to walk towards Manolas, the island capital, from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Caldera. Nicole will take you to a traditional house where you will get a chance to taste bread made on the only wooden oven on the entire Santorini Island.
Next, you will visit an old winery in Manola Village where delicious food will be served, including an appetizer, main meal, dessert, and drink of your choice (wine, soft drink, or Raki). Vegan or vegetarian food can also be made upon request. You will love the taste of the meals and snacks prepared using local products.
You will then walk 165 steps down to Korfos Port where you can chill, relax, or swim at the beach before going back to Ammoudi Port via the seabus.
*For people who are unable to walk throughout the tour, the tour organizer will call a taxi transfer.
